Two seats open on VCSD board

VOORHEESVILLE — Two seats on the district’s seven-member board of education are up for election this year, and board President David Gibson is not planning to seek re-election.

GCSD to cut 81 jobs in $87M “damage control” budget 

GUILDERLAND — A somber crowd listened Tuesday night to the school superintendent present an $87.5 million budget proposal for next year that would cut 81 jobs.
