GUILDERLAND — The Guilderland softball team wants to continue to make strides and take another step in being a top team in the Suburban Council.

VOORHEESVILLE — Players on the Voorheesville baseball team want to remain the top Birds in the Colonial Council.

VOORHEESVILLE — It was a tough season for the Voorheesville bowling team this winter, but Coach Jim Duncan said that it doesn’t quell interest in the team.

GUILDERLAND — New decorations for the boys’ lacrosse team locker room at Guilderland High School were not all well received.

GUILDERLAND — A plethora of athletes from Guilderland High School competed in state competitions this past weekend.

They competed locally and in far-flung places such as Ithaca, Buffalo, and Rochester.

BERNE — The players on the Berne-Knox-Westerlo girls’ basketball team gave it their all in last Wednesday’s Class CC sectional semifinal game.

But they fell just short of pulling off another upset.

GUILDERLAND -- The defense that the Guilderland girls’ basketball team used was almost offensive. At least it was to Catholic Central.
