Those are the three words that each member of the girls’ basketball team at Berne-Knox-Westerlo write on their hands before each game. It is a reminder of how they want to play every game.





BERNE — Berne-Knox-Westerlo basketball player Rick Ragone stepped to the free-throw line.

In order to give his team a chance for a win, he had to make the first of his one-and-one attempts.



VOORHEESVILLE — The Voorheesville girls’ basketball team came within seconds of pulling off its biggest win of the year on Friday.
