FORT HUNTER FIRE DISTRICT 
  NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 
CONCERNING PARTIAL PROPERTY TAX EXEMPTION FOR VOLUNTEER FIREFIGHTERS 
 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a Public Hearing on the proposed adoption of a resolution granting a partial real property tax exemption pursuant to Real Property Tax Law §466-a for the primary residence of volunteer firefighters will be held in and for the Fort Hunter Fire District on December 11th, 2023 at 7:00PM at the Fort Hunter Fire District offices located at 3525 Carman Road,  Schenectady, New York 12303. 
The proposed Resolution for consideration is abstracted as follows: 
RESOLVED, that the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Fort Hunter Fire  District, hereby authorizes the Fire District to adopt RPTL §466-a volunteer firefighter partial tax exemption for enrolled members of an incorporated fire company, as determined by the authority having jurisdiction in the amount of 10% of the assessed value of a primary residence and upon a minimum service requirement of two years based upon the Fire District’s determination as the governing body, subject to all other statutory requirements. 
 The Resolution setting the Public Hearing may be viewed in its entirety at the Fire District’s office during normal business hours.

PUBLIC HEARING/ LEGAL NOTICE
     PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, the Town of Westerlo Planning Board will be holding two (2) Public Hearings on Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 7 pm. The first Public Hearing is for a Special Use Permit for Bishop SUP- 23-2. The applicant is seeking a Special Use Permit to place a travel trailer on a vacant lot as per Local Law 3 of 2022. This lot has an approved well and septic on it. SBL#127.-2-27.30, located at 3867 SR 85. The second Public Hearing is for a Minor Subdivision for Pecylak SD-23-5. The applicant is seeking a Minor Subdivision for a 3-acre lot and a 36-acre lot. SBL# 162.-2-12, located on CR 405 Westerlo. The Public Hearings will be held at the Richard Rapp Municipal Building (Town Hall) located at 933 CR 401 in Westerlo.

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board of Town of New     Scotland, New York will hold a public hearing pursuant to Article IV, Section 190-41 of the Zoning Law on the following proposition:
A Public Hearing of Special Use Application # 601
Special Use Permit Application # 601: Application for modification of its current approval  submitted by Standard Solar to allow for an updated landscaping plan associated with the 1.875-megawatt Ground mounted large scale solar system. The total acreage of the site will contain approximately 18.5 acres between the two lots, and is located within the R2 Zone. The site is owned by Donald Baker and Martha Oden, is leased to Standard Solar Corp, located at 331 New Scotland South Road, and is identified as New Scotland tax parcel id #84.-1-40.11. This application is made pursuant to Large Scale Solar listed as a Special Use in the R2 Zoning District as per Local Law V of 2017 and Article V, Section 57A of the Town Of New Scotland Code.
