NOTICE TO BIDDER FOR
KENSINGTON WOODS/NORTHEAST WATER DISTRICT  PROJECT
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that pursuant to resolution of the Town Board, Town of New Scotland, Albany County, New York sealed bids for the KENNSINGTON WOODS/NORTHEAST WATER DISTRICT Project titled “KENSINGTON WOODS/NORTHEAST PIPE BIDS” will be received at the office of the Town Clerk at Town Hall, Town of New Scotland, County of Albany, 2029 New Scotland Road Slingerlands, N.Y. 12159, until 2:00 P.M. on the 30th Of December 2022.   On January 5th, 2023 at 10:00 AM the bids will be opened and read aloud. Bids will be submitted in duplicate in sealed envelopes which shall bear on the face thereof the name and address of the company and title, “Kensington Woods/Northeast Pipe Bids”. Detailed specifications and bid forms are available to any interested bidder at the office of the Town Clerk located at 2029 New Scotland Rd., Slingerlands, NY. 
The contract for the Kensington Wood/Northeast Pipe project will be awarded by the Town Board to the lowest responsible bidder. In case where two or more responsible bidders submit identical bids as to price, the Town Board may reject any or all bids at its discretion.
 The Town Board reserves the right to wave any informality in or to reject any or all bids.
 All bids must be accompanied by Non-Collusion Bidding Certificate required by Section 103- d of the General Law.

Please take notice, the Town of Westerlo Tax Collector’s Office hours will be extended to include Saturdays and appointments during the month of January for the collection of taxes. Taxes may be paid in person at the Tax Collector’s office located at the Richard Rapp Municipal Building, 933 County Route 401, Westerlo Monday through Wednesday 7:30 am - 3:30 pm, Thursday 2 pm – 7 pm, Saturday from 8 am – 11 am or by appointment. Acceptable forms of payment include cash, check and money order.
Credit and Visa Debit are also accepted; however, an additional fee will apply. For your convenience, payments may also be made online at https:/egov.basgov.com/westerlo/ or at the Bank of Greene County Greenville Branch (4 Garland Lane) Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Friday 8:30 am – 6 pm and Saturday 8:30 am – noon or at the Westerlo Branch (593 SR 143) Monday – Friday 9 am – 3 pm.
The bank will accept cash, check or money order and will require a copy of your tax bill to be able to make a payment.

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the Town of Westerlo Planning Board will be holding four (4) Public Hearings on Tuesday, January 10, 2022 at 7 PM at the Richard Rapp Municipal Building located at 933 CR 401 in Westerlo. The first Public Hearing is for the Winnie Minor Subdivision SD 22-2 to move the existing apartment complex located on State Route 32 (#176.-1-3.10 & # 176.-1-20.1) from two lots to one. The second Public Hearing is for the Sharkey 2 lot Minor Subdivision SD 22-3 to split parcel # 175.-1-44 located on County Route 409 into two 2 parcels.
The third Public Hearing is for the Hunter/Tarbox 2 lot Minor Subdivision SD 22-4 to split parcel # 138.-2-3 located on County Route 413 into two 2 parcels. The fourth Public Hearing is for the Gallagher/Betanzos Special Use Permit SUP 22-4 to place a travel trailer on parcel # 174.-1-37.2 located on Gifford Rd.
