RENSSELAERVILLE — Dorothy Reinhart, who loved her family and was a friend to many, died peacefully on Monday, Dec. 20, 2021. She was 86.

She was born on April 14, 1935 in River Vale, New Jersey.

“Dorothy, affectionately known as Dot or Dottie, was a beautiful and loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend to many,” her family wrote in a tribute. 

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Edward Reinhart of Rensselaerville, and Jeffrey Reinhart of Albany; her daughter, Vicki Morales, and her husband, Giovanni, of Jacksonville, Florida; her daughter-in-law, Kathleen Reinhart of Middleburgh; her grandchildren, Ross, Scott, Nicole, Ryan, Gregory, Dana, and Grant; her great-grandchildren, Nicholas and Luke; her sisters, Marie and Mildred; her brother, Richard; and many nieces and nephews she also adored.

Her mother, Frances Succow, and father, James Ketchell, died before her, as did her brothers, Robert, William, Thomas, and James, and her sister, Clara.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
