Glenn Walsh would like to be remembered as firefighter, Hilltowns Player

To the Editor:

On Jan. 8, 2020, my husband, Glenn Walsh, wrote a letter to the Enterprise editor, asking the paper to please remember that, when complaining about the Knox transfer-station firing that, while “I’m proud of being Afzali’s father-in-law … I’m so much more.”

He was already tired of this in January. It is now December and his name is still being brought up as Afzali’s father-in-law. See coverage about Berne meeting on Dec. 3 [“Berne town and planning boards clash while attorney defends apparent lie”].

Glenn died on Oct. 26. As he had already stated to The Enterprise, he is very proud of his son-in-law, Javid Afzali, but I’m sure that he would much rather have the short time that he lived in Knox be remembered by his times volunteering for the Knox Volunteer Fire Company and his participation with the Hilltowns Players theater group.

RIP Glenn 4/24/51-10/26/20
