A large degree of regret

To the Editor:

I have spent a considerable period of time thinking about writing this letter. But here goes.

Pretty soon the election of our next president will be activated, and shortly thereafter, the results will begin to materialize. I’ve had 90-plus years to put together the following.

To date, there are approximately nine states going down the tube, all of which are expensive to live in; the common denominator: They are Democratic. [Governor Andrew] Cuomo in New York, [Governor Gavin Newsom] in California, and then there is Illinois and others.

Joe Biden and his corrupt family are a good example of what has been taking place over the last political years. Many people voted for him because they dislike Trump’s personality.

I don't like it either, but I voted for him because of what he has accomplished: Less unemployment, females recognized for their electoral value, enhanced education, higher salaries, etc.

Unfortunately, I had a relative, nationally part of the destruction of the old-fashioned political and family-oriented lifestyle.

Many children today, not all, but too many, remain childish into their twenties, and I include members of my own family. Their parents haven’t grown up yet. I say this with a large degree of regret.

I and others were young adults when we were 7 or 8 years old, and I know that many of you out there were the same.
