Local students get Clarkson scholarships

These local students have received scholarships from Clarkson University for the 2016-17 academic year:

Matt Reluzco of Schenectady, a senior majoring in civil engineering, received the Wallace H. Coulter Endowed Scholarship and the David A. Walsh '67 Endowed Scholarship;

Phillip Anthony Riscica of Voorheesville, a senior majoring in engineering and management, received the George J. Stanley Endowed Scholarship and the R. David Diederich '64 Memorial Endowed Scholarship;

David Thurlen Lasselle of East Berne, a junior majoring in mechanical engineering, received the David A. Walsh '67 Endowed Scholarship and the Charles E. Becker Memorial Endowed Scholarship;

Owen Everett Talmage of Delmar, a sophomore majoring in aeronautical engineering, received the William B. Gero Memorial Endowed Scholarship, Ellen Herrick Endowed Scholarship, and the F. Carlton and Ethel B. Simpson Memorial Endowed Scholarship;

Bradley Kenneth Bettinger of Delmar, a sophomore majoring in engineering and management, received the David Scaringe '01 Memorial Sponsored Scholarship;

Zachary Patrick McNally of Schenectady, a sophomore majoring in mechanical engineering, received the David A. Walsh '67 Endowed Scholarship;

Connor Ryall McGrath of Delmar, a freshman majoring in mechanical engineering, received the David Scaringe '01 Memorial Sponsored Scholarship; and

Kyle Dillon LaFond of Slingerlands, N.Y., a freshman majoring in environmental engineering, received the David A. Walsh '67 Endowed Scholarship.
