Awards and achievements

These local students have recently distinguished themselves:

— Nicole Brower of East Berne, a graduate of Voorheesville’s Clayton A. Bouton High School, has been inducted into National Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society, the country’s oldest and largest honor society for first-year university students in all disciplines. Brower is one of 118 Colgate University students in the Class of 2019 inducted this year.
