“Carmella will be dearly missed by everyone,” her family wrote in a tribute. “She enjoyed being with her family, especially for Sunday and holiday dinners.

“Camille loved to travel and, with her husband, visited Alaska twice. In later years, she enjoyed the Senior Club and the company of her ‘bus friends.’ Camille was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Church in Greenville.

Her husband, Herbert Reno, died on Feb. 2, 2001; her parents, Peter and Mary Puelo Cavalcante, also died before her.

Family members besides the two daughters who submitted their mother’s tribute to the funeral home wrote The Enterprise after this obituary was first posted online to say Mrs. Reno’s eldest daughter, Cheryl Reno Benninger, and her husband, Chuck Benninger, as well as the Benningers’ children and grandchildren had been omitted from the list of survivors.

They are Mrs. Reno’s grandchildren, Charles Benninger (Stephanie), and Allison Benninger-Gerdsmeier, and her great-grandchildren, Nicoli and Zander Gerdsmeier and Olivia and Jacob Benninger.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass, which will be offered on Wednesday, Dec. 18 at 11 a.m. in St. John the Baptist Church at 4987 State Route 81 in Greenville. Private burial will be in Hannacroix Rural Cemetery.  There are no calling hours.

Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice, 445 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205.
