Christmas for Kids seeks donations

SCHOHARIE COUNTY — The Schoharie County Christmas for Kids is now in its fifth year of serving families during the Christmas holidays.

SCC for Kids includes representatives from most of the county’s not-for-profit organization: The Joshua Project, Catholic Charities, Schoharie County Child Development Council (Head Start), Community Maternity Services, Schoharie Area Long Term, Schoharie County Community Action Program, and the Schoharie County Chamber of Commerce, as well as several school districts, churches, and individuals.

Contributions are necessary to maintain the level of services provided by the program. Checks or gift cards may be sent to “SCC for Kids” at Post Office Box 413, Middleburgh, NY 12122. Toys or monetary donations may also be dropped off at 114 Lark Street, Cobleskill, NY 12043.
