Frat organizes bone-marrow drive

Three local students, as members of Oneonta’s Zeta Beta Tau fraternity chapter, helped organize the State University of New York College at Oneonta’s third annual Gift of Life Bone Marrow Donor Registration Drive in October:

— Colton Dlugolecki of Voorheesville;

— Zach Garcia of Delmar; and

— Nick Politi of Delmar;

At the drive, 190 people signed up to become potential bone marrow and stem cell donors through Gift of Life, a national, public, not-for-profit registry facilitating life-saving transplants for patients with blood cancers such as leukemia and lymphoma.
