Police interrupt burglary at Four Corners wellness center

BETHLEHEM — An Albany man was charged with burglary after, police say, he broke into a chiropractor’s office.

Police interrupted the “burglary in progress” on Tuesday, Dec. 5, at Shannon Chiropractic Wellness, LLC, at 397 Kenwood Avenue in Delmar, according to a release from the Bethlehem Police.

Lawrence Femminella, 54, who is under parole supervision for a previous crime, was charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree criminal mischief, boh felonies, as well as with four misdemeanors: petit larceny, seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal contempt, and possession of burglar tools.

He was arraigned in Bethlehem Town Court by Judge Ryan Donovan and remanded to Albany County’s jail, without bail. A preliminary hearing is set for Dec. 12, at 5 p.m.
