GUILDERLAND — Thomas A. Cyr Sr., an outdoorsman, died on Sunday, Dec. 5, 2021, surrounded by family. He was 61.

Born in Albany, he was the son of the late Albert and Elizabeth Cyr.

“Tommy enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing,” his family wrote in a tribute. “Above all, he was a proud uncle.”

He is survived by siblings, Harold Cyr, Albert Cyr, and Patricia Sawyer and her husband, Skip. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and two children.

His siblings — Bernard Cook, Joseph Cyr, John Cyr, Richard Cyr, and Roseanne Potter — died before him.

“Respecting Tommy’s wishes there will be no services,” his family wrote.
