Thanksgiving bounty

During the first two weeks of November, the students and families of Helderberg Christian School once again partnered with the Rock Road Chapel Community Storehouse and collected over 250 items of food to fill Thanksgiving baskets for 41 families in the Hilltowns.

“This is just one of the many ways that Helderberg Christian School teaches their students to give to others,” according to a release from the school. “Later this month, the students will be going to both a nursing home and an assisted-living facility to bring Christmas cheer to the residents there. They will sing Christmas songs and spend some time visiting.”

Helderberg Christian School is a New York State Registered School with a mission of providing a program of academic excellence integrated with a view of the world from a Christian perspective.
