Fair to help veterans to be held Dec. 8 in Altamont

A resource fair for veterans, active duty service members, and their families will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 8, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the American Legion Helderberg Post 977 in Altamont.

The post is located at 988 Altamont Blvd. in the village.

Attendees can expect to receive assistance from various not-for-profit and government organizations in areas related to health care, housing, financial services, and more.

The fair is being sponsored by State Senator Michelle Hinchey, in partnership with the post, Assemblywoman Patricia Fahy, and the Albany County Veterans Service Agency.
