The New York Capital District Christian Women’s Connection is sponsoring a “Holiday Shopping Extravaganza #2” luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 12, at the Guilderland Elks Lodge at 3867 Carman Road, beginning at 11:30 a.m. and ending at approximately 1:30 p.m. Please be prompt.

Your reservation is necessary no later than Dec. 6 and you must let us know ahead if you are canceling. Please call Nancy at 518-320-2649 or Mae at 518-895-8977 for reservations by Dec. 6.

On the menu this month is baked ham, scalloped potatoes, and cheesecake for dessert with an alternative choice of grilled-chicken salad. The cost is $17 inclusive (cash only).

Sharon Palmer from Broadalbin will speak on “The Musician Who Finally Found the Right Key.” Judy Merriam will sing for us.

As for the feature, we will be having a Vendor Fair and Bake Sale. Please feel free to bring baked goods for the sale if you wish or bring something wonderful home. Please have your baked goods packaged and priced.
