To the Editor:
Thank you for your editorial “Let us be Guided by the Better Angels of Our Nature” in the Nov. 24 edition. 

 I was fortunate enough to hear your talk in person at the League of Women Voters 100th Anniversary Gala and really appreciated the work you did in reaching out to our honorees/celebrants and learning their stories. Each had a unique story to share and you made that happen.

I especially appreciated your connecting our stories with Nancy Pelosi’s retirement and the profile of Peggy Filkins Warner.
