These local members of the New York Army National Guard have been promoted in recognition of their capability for additional responsibility and leadership:

— Tyler Kelafant from Voorheesville, assigned to the 206th Military Police Company, received a promotion to the rank of Private;

— David Robinson from Guilderland, assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1-69th Infantry, received a promotion to the rank of Sergeant First Class; and

— Dominic Woodmansee from Westerlo, assigned to the 1427th Transportation Company, received a promotion to the rank of Specialist.

Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential.
