NEW SCOTLAND — The 27th Voorheesville Community Christmas Festival will be held on Sunday, Dec. 18, at 7 p.m.

The event is held at the First United Methodist Church of Voorheesville at 68 Maple Ave.

“Come and enjoy a traditional holiday program of Christmas music and a story, presented by our own community singers and players,” says a flyer advertising the event.

Another church flyer urges, “Add your voice: singers needed.” Practice sessions will be on Thursday evenings, Dec. 1, 8, and 15, at 7:30 p.m. those with questions may contact Ken George at (518) 4442.
