Dollars for Scholars’ first fair was festive and well organized

To the Editor:

This past Sunday, Nov. 24, I spent the day as a vendor at the Voorheesville Dollars for Scholars first Craft Vendor Sale at Voorheesvill’s high school. I want to commend all those involved in organizing this special event for a very worthy cause.

The fair was well organized with plenty of staff, students, and other volunteers available to direct us to parking spots, unload and carry in our wares, locate our vendor booth, and answer questions.

There were so many vendors there was something for everyone. The event included nice touches like a raffle, a variety of delicious food, and Christmas music to make it festive.

Despite the rainy, raw weather, there appeared to be a good turnout. I hope this fair becomes an annual event, and, if it does, don’t miss it next year!
