The Hudson Valley Community College Foundation recently awarded more than 100  of the top students with academic scholarships, including these local students:

— Matthew Cunningham of Schenectady received the Sean Anthony Kelleher Memorial Scholarship. Cunningham is studying in the Construction Technology - Building Construction academic program;

— Hannah Gove of Delmar received the Otto V. Guenther Scholarship. Gove is studying in the Dental Hygiene academic program;

— Deserae Miglucci of Delmar received the Madeline P. Feist Scholarship. Miglucci is studying in the Nursing academic program;

— Carolyn Palow of Berne received the James K. and Jeannette M. Morse Memorial Scholarship. Palow is studying in the Nursing academic program; and

— Eric Segerstrom of Delmar received the Senator Joseph L. Bruno Public Service Scholarship. Segerstrom is studying in the Engineering Science academic program.
