Guard promotes

These local members of the New York Army National Guard have recently been promoted:

— Dylan Haugen from Slingerlands, assigned to the Division Signal Company, 42nd Infantry Division, received a promotion to the rank of private first class; and

— Philip Nimphius from Slingerlands, assigned to the Intelligence and Sustainment Company, 42nd Infantry, received a promotion to the rank of sergeant first class.

Army National Guard promotions are based on overall performance, attitude, leadership ability, and development potential.
