GUILDERLAND — Ronald J. Gecsedi of Guilderland and Renee A. Gecsedi of Rensselaer are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kaitlyn M. Gecsedi, to Ryan J. Davidson, son of Keith and Celeste Davidson of Glens Falls.

The bride is a 2006 graduate of Guilderland High School, and received her bachelor of arts degree in mathematics with a minor in German from Nazareth College in 2010 and her master of science degree in mathematics from the University of Vermont in 2012.

Ms. Gecsedi is a systems analyst with Hudson Headwaters Health Network in Glens Falls. In addition, she is a math tutor, Zumba instructor, Body Pump instructor, R.I.P.P.E.D. instructor, and marathon runner.

The groom is a 2004 graduate of Glens Falls High School and received his bachelor of arts degree in biology with a business minor from LeMoyne College in 2008.  Mr. Davidson is a Supervisor at C.R. Bard Inc., of Glens Falls, in addition to being involved in real estate-property investment and the agricultural production of hops.

A May 2017 wedding is planned at the Davidson Family Farm in Cambridge, New York.  The couple will reside in their new home in Queensbury
