To the Editor:

The Boy Scouts of Troop 50 would like to thank the community for its continued generous donations to the St. Madeleine Sophie Food Pantry.

On Saturday, Nov. 11, the troop and their families drove house to house to collect and then sort 2,835 items. The donations will benefit those in need around the Capital Region just before the holidays.

Your charitable support made this year’s St. Madeleine Sophie Food Drive a huge success. Thank you for helping us make a difference and know that your generosity spreads a lot of happiness through your community.
