Donate to and shop at library’s Winter Boutique

To the Editor:

The Friends of the Voorheesville Public Library will be holding the third annual Winter Boutique on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 8, from 1 to 3 p.m.

This popular fundraising event benefits the many programs held at the library. The Friends of the Library will have an array of winter-themed items to purchase. Saturday will include a bake sale.

As you are preparing for the holidays and you are tidying up, the Friends would accept donations of the articles which no longer “spark joy.” The FOL is looking for gently-used, attractive jewelry, purses, wallets, scarves, frames, ornaments, decorative serving dishes, winter-themed linens, coasters, and other winter-themed items.

Items that do not sell will be donated to local community organizations.

Please drop off your donations at the library beginning Wednesday, Dec. 4, between 9:30 a.m. and 9 p.m. through Friday, Dec. 6, at 1 p.m. Please note clothing will not be accepted for the boutique.

The Winter Boutique provides affordable pricing for everyone. We hope to see you there.
