Altamont church plans trip to French Riviera

ALTAMONT — After being postponed twice,  St. Lucy/St. Bernadette Church in Altamont is once again sponsoring a trip departing from Albany to Provence and the French Riviera.

The tour, escorted by local travel expert Jean Gagnon, will leave from Albany on April 20 and return on April 30, 2022.  Space is limited to 36 fully vaccinated participants, and there are currently only 10 seats left.

The group will visit country villages, mountaintop towns, and cities made famous by the artists who called them home, including Van Gogh, Matisse, Cezanne, and Picasso. International resort towns like Cannes and Nice will be explored as well as Monte Carlo. Average temperature is a high of 65 and a low of 50.

Including all flights, transportation from Albany to Newark, nine nights in four-star hotels, breakfast daily, four dinners including wine, two wine tastings, one local food-products tasting and all included sightseeing, the rate starts at $4,475 per person.
Although sponsored by the church, these tours are not “pilgrimages” or “religious” events. All are welcome to participate. For further information contact Jean Gagnon at 518-785-3338, or jean@plazatravel.net.
