PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town Board of the Town of Rensselaerville will hold a Public Hearing in relation to the proposed borrowing by the Medusa Volunteer Fire Company (hereinafter the “Fire Company”) from the Bank of Greene County in connection with renovations and improvements which the Fire Company wishes to make with respect to its firehouse located at 28 County Route 351, Medusa, NY. The proposed borrowing by the Fire Company will be an obligation in the form of a promissory note to the Bank of Greene County. The Fire Company is seeking approval of the Town of Rensselaerville in connection with this borrowing pursuant to the applicable sections of the Internal Revenue Code relating to borrowing by a private fire company through the issuance of tax exempt obligations (Internal Revenue Code Sections 147(f) and 150(e)). The hearing will take place on December 6, 2016 at 6:45 PM at the Town of Rensselaerville Town Hall, 87 Barger Road, Medusa, NY at which time and place all those wishing to comment will be provided with the full opportunity to be heard.

Communications in writing in relation thereto may be filed with the Town Clerk’s Office or at such hearing.
