To the Editor:
Picture yourself a winner in the 8th Annual Berne Library Juried Photography Exhibit! Sponsored by the Friends of the Berne Library, there are four categories for photos: Wacky Weather; Nostalgia; Frisky Four-Legged Friends; and Lights, Camera, Action. You may enter one photograph per category.    

Entry forms are available at the Berne Public Library website: https://www.bernepubliclibrary.org/?page_id=2140 or at the library.

There are two age divisions: Junior (18 and under) and Adult. The entry fee for the Adult Division is $5. There is no fee for entrance in the Junior Division. Photos must be 8-by-10 inches on an 11-by-14-inch mat.  Mats are available at the library if needed when you register. The deadline for entering the contest is Tuesday, Jan. 31.

Photos will be displayed in the Library Community Room for the month of February and the public will be invited to vote for their favorite in each division. Professional photographers will also judge the photos. Prizes will be awarded to Best of Show winners and Popular Choice winners at a reception at the library in March.

Start snapping some photos! We hope to see your entry in the contest and we hope you will come to the library to vote for your favorite photo!
