A lifelong resident of South Westerlo, Mrs. Waldron went to work at Balsam Shade and then at Baumann’s Brookside. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Norton Hill and of the United Methodist Women. She volunteered at the Elliot House Thrift Shop, where she was known by her peers as the Quality Control Specialist. She also worked as a Ladies Aid at the Lambs Corners Church.

“Clara was an amazing baker, and was widely known for making ‘Clara’s Rolls’,” her family wrote in a tribute. She enjoyed puzzles, swimming, reading, playing cards, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was an avid bird-lover, and enjoyed bird-watching. She loved her family and her dog, Cocoa.
