The New Salem Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary will be hosting its 16th Teddy Bear Tea with Mrs. Claus for boys and girls on Sunday, Dec. 7, with seating at 1 p.m. at the New Salem firehouse at 694 New Salem Road

 Our theme for this year is A Christmas Tea with Mrs. Claus & Friends. Come and enjoy tea sandwiches and dessert along with a hot chocolate buffet sponsored by Carl’s Advanced Automotive & Truck Repair Center in Voorheesville.  

The auxiliary has been in contact with Mrs. Claus again this year to help plan another wonderful event for the children in the community. There will be gifts for the children, story readings by Mrs. Claus, and excitement of a Special Guest.  Mrs. Claus is looking forward to seeing everyone!

Paid advance reservations are required by Sunday, Dec. 1.  Please call 518-421-4057 or email to make your reservations. When calling or emailing, please be sure to leave your name and phone number so Mrs. Claus’s office can return your call and provide further information.

The cost is $30 for an adult and one child. Each additional guest (child, Grandma, Grandpa, cousins or friends) is $10 each. Bring your camera for photo opportunities.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the New Scotland Food Pantry.
