BETHLEHEM — Residents escaped uninjured on Tuesday evening from a fire at 7 Eastmount Drive in Slingerlands.

Smoke was coming from the apartment complex off of Blessing Road when police arrived after receiving a report of a structure fire at 6:05 p.m., according to a release from Bethlehem Police.

Firefighters from companies in Bethlehem and Guilderland were able to extinguish the fire, which does not appear suspicious.

The Red Cross said it offered assistance to three adults in two households affected by the fire.
