Casale joins Albany Med

Charles Casale, M.D., a fellowship-trained gastroenterologist, has joined Albany Medical Center’s Community Division of Gastroenterology, where he will treat patients for a full range of gastrointestinal diseases and disorders.

Casale received his medical degree from the University of Antwerp in Belgium. He completed a residency in internal medicine and a fellowship in gastroenterology at the Yale-affiliated Waterbury Medical Center and the Hospital of Saint Raphael in New Haven, Connecticut.

He has lectured widely on a variety of subjects related to gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary care. He has also served as a clinical investigator on research related to hepatitis B and irritable bowel syndrome.

Casale is seeing patients at the Albany Med Community Division of Gastroenterology and Surgery at 2147 Eastern Parkway, Schenectady, and at 3757 Carman Road in Guilderland.
