To the Editor:

On Tuesday, Nov. 11, in honor of Veterans Day, we at the Clarksville Historical Society will open our exhibit on the Hometown Heroes, from 2 to 4 p.m.  There have been several new additions to the banners displayed throughout the town and our exhibit has been updated to include them.

The exhibit also includes a record of the men from the town of New Scotland who enlisted during the Civil War.

We will be replacing a few of the displays from our September opening with the photo display of buildings that once stood in the village that no longer exist and a map of the locations of these historic structures.

The exhibit is located in the old Superior Oil building at the corner of Route 443 and Tarrytown Road.  Stop in and visit with us.
