Jeffery Lee Slingerland 

Jeffery Lee Slingerland, of Davenport, Florida, and formerly from Clarksville, died suddenly at Celebration Hospital in Celebration, Florida on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021. He was 63.

He was the son of the late Katherine and Howard Slingerland.

He is survived by his wife, Toni, and his four sons, Theodore, Dustin, Grant, and Reid Slingerland.

He is also survived by his brothers, Robert “Shorty” Hoffman and his wife, Beverly, Brian Slingerland and his wife, Sharon, Howard Slingerland and his wife, Valerie; by his sisters, Paula Cole and Mike Jones, Bobbi Lynne Hoover, Jean Paquin and her husband, Marc, and Noreen Berenger and her husband, Richard; and by his sister-in-law, Donna Avery.

His brothers, Kenneth Hoffman, married to Shirley, and Gerald Slingerland, died before him, as did his sisters, Jacqueline Avery, married to Arthur, Joyce Hoffman, and his brother-in-law, Thomas Hoover.

He is survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and many cousins.

Family and friends are invited to a memorial service at the Clarksville Community Church in Clarksville on Saturday, Nov. 13, at noon. There will be a celebration of his life immediately following the service at the Onesquethaw firehouse in Clarksville.
