Write in Saddlemire for Knox Town Board
To the Editor:
This Election Day, Ken Saddlemire will be running as a write-in candidate for Knox Town Board. He is independent, fair, level-headed.
Ken Saddlemire will be able to decide on issues based solely on their merits, by listening to input from community members and applying his common sense. Ken Saddlemire runs an economically viable dairy farm.
In addition, he has been a member of the Knox Volunteer Fire Company for 31 years. His family has been in this town for four generations. He will bring a much-needed agricultural and small-business perspective to the town board.
The current four board members appear to be opposed to change and new ideas. Dan Hanley, who is running for the Knox Town Board on the Democratic line, represents more of the same support for the status quo.
Ken Saddlemire will be a welcome change from business as usual. The town board needs new ideas and approaches so that it can change with the times. Ken has the experience and independence that is necessary to enable the town of Knox to move forward.
I urge you to write in Ken Saddlemire for Knox town councilmember on Nov. 8. Fill in the circle at the bottom of column 10 and write his name in the box.
