Please take notice that a public hearing will be conducted at the Onesquethaw Volunteer Fire Co. Inc, 1278 Tarrytown Road, Clarksville, NY 12041 on November 26th , 2018 at 7 p.m. in relation to the proposed purchase and financing by the Onesquethaw Volunteer Fire Co. Inc. of firefighting equipment (fire truck) consisting of Rosenbauer Aluminum Pumper apparatus body and four door commander custom chassis with 1500 gal tank. The fire company proposes to finance $410,000.00 of the purchase price with a loan/promissory note to The Bank of Greene County.

The proposed purchase is from Rosenbauer South Dakota LLC for the total sum of $559,366.00. The firefighting equipment is to be used for the provision of the fire protection service to the Town of New Scotland Fire Protection District “pursuant to a contract dated 01/01/18-12/31/18 between the Onesquethaw Volunteer Fire Co. Inc. and the Town of New Scotland. The firefighting equipment is to be garaged at 1278 Tarrytown Road, Clarksville, NY 12041.

ON THE PRELIMINARY BUDGET OF THE TOWN OF NEW SCOTLAND  FOR THE YEAR 2019

Notice is hereby given that the Preliminary Budget of the Town of New Scotland for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2019, including general town funds, highway/public works funds, fire protection district funds, and special district funds, has been completed and filed in the office of the Town Clerk of the Town of New Scotland, at New Scotland Town Hall, 2029 New Scotland Road, Slingerlands, New York, where it is available for inspection by any interested persons during office hours.

The Town Board of the Town of New Scotland shall hold a public hearing on said Preliminary Budget on November 7, 2018 at 6:30 pm at Town of New Scotland, 2029 New Scotland Road, Slingerlands, NY showing such changes, alterations and revisions as have been made therein by the Town Board to the Tentative Budget.  At such hearing, any person may be heard in favor of or against the Preliminary Budget as compiled or for or against any item or items therein contained.
