To the Editor:

Russian president Valdimir Putin says the United States is a “third-world country.” Maybe not yet but getting there fast!

If the American people don’t get out and vote to return our government to civility, to stop the giant corporations expanding and controlling our economy, to stop cutting education and health programs, to stop destroying our environmental protections, we are guilty.

If we don’t stop this backward movement, we not only make our country less habitable for our children and grandchildren, for generations to come, but we become a major player in destroying our world as we know it!

Vote: If you don’t, you contribute to the disaster.
