Tomboys no more

BETHLEHEM — The Board of Directors of the Bethlehem Tomboys Girls’ Softball League unanimously voted to change its name to Bethlehem Softball League at its October meeting.

“The name change has been discussed for years and we’ve been working very hard during the last couple months to make this important change,” said Bethlehem Softball League President Mark Ciafardo in a release from the league. “We want to be an all-inclusive organization for the children and families of the Town of Bethlehem and the surrounding communities.”

Ciafardo noted, while a new logo has been created to promote the name change, league officials are still working on other changes, including updating the website address.
“We are looking to update the website, but with registration for the 2020 season happening soon, we will be using www.bethlehemtomboys.com for now,” he said.
