Allen Stempel will work for all the residents of Berne
To the Editor:
My name is Brian Crawford, and I have lived in the town of Berne most of my 71 years. A lot of you know me as your former tax assessor, a post I held for 30 years prior to retiring. My extended family has lived in Berne for many generations. My older son with his wife and my two grandchildren live on the old family farm just down the road from me. My younger son spends a lot of time with us hunting on the old farm.
I am endorsing Allen Stempel as town of Berne superintendent of highways in the upcoming election. I recently spoke with Allen Stempel, and we discussed his decision to enter this difficult election. He is ready. He has the skills to be a manager, to handle the assorted issues that will arise, to work with the town board and all the residents of the town.
Allen Stempel, like myself, has a long connection with the town of Berne and understands how people want to be treated. Allen Stempel will work for all the residents of Berne making sure all services that are necessary will be provided on a timely basis.
The people in the town of Berne deserve Allen Stempel to be their next highway superintendent. It is time for the elected officials in Berne to move forward and deal with each other and residents respectfully and to come up with constructive answers to Berne’s various problems.
Allen Stempel is up to the challenge, and he will do a good job for all of us. But first, it is your job to vote to elect Allen Stempel as the town of Berne superintendent of highways.
