The budget amounts for these Districts showing the actual budget amount for 2025 and the proposed budget for the 2026 Fiscal Year as follows:

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Guilderland has scheduled a PUBLIC HEARING for Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 6:00 pm at the Guilderland Town Hall, 5209 Western Turnpike, Guilderland, New York. to hear all interested persons on the 2026 Preliminary Budget for the Town of Guilderland.

PUBLIC HEARING/ LEGAL NOTICE
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE the Town of Westerlo Planning/Zoning Board will be holding two Public Hearings on October 27, 2025, at 7 pm at the Richard Rapp Municipal Building located at 933 CR 401 in Westerlo. The first Public Hearing is for McDermott Special Use Permit SUP-25-4. Applicant is seeking a Special Use Permit as per Zoning Law section 8.40(3)c commercial use. The applicant would like to operate a repair shop for small engines and off road vehicles. This use will be located in an existing structure located on the same property as their single-family home. SBL#127.1-2-30 located on County Route 1. The second Public Hearing is for Clickman Variance V-25-10. Applicant is seeking relief of 24 feet from the required 30-foot side lot line setback as per Zoning section 8.50a in the Residential Hamlet District. This variance is needed to construct a larger replacement garage. SBL#139.9-2-13 located on SR 143.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Village of Altamont, New York
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Village Board for the Village of Altamont at the Village Community Room on the 5th day of November 2025, at 7:00 p.m. regarding adopting a proposed local law amending certain sections of Chapter 124 of the Village Code regulating the control of dogs to require that dogs that are not on private property to be kept on a physical leash and under the control of their owner or the person accompanying the dog. The law would also prohibit habitual loud howling, barking, crying, or whining that lasts continually for a period of ten (10) minutes or intermittently for a consecutive period of thirty (30) minutes. The law provides that the Village Board may also adopt rules and regulations to prohibit or restrict the days or times when dogs may be permitted on Village Property to ensure the presence of dogs does not conflict or interfere with scheduled or planned programming or permitted activities taking place on the premises. The proposed local law would also prohibit dogs within ten feet of Village Playgrounds containing playground equipment. The proposed local law removes the prohibitions on chasing or barking after motor vehicles, female dogs in heat and the language pertaining to hunting dogs and their owners. Interested persons are encouraged to attend the public hearing and submit comments for the Village Board’s consideration. Copies of the proposed Local Law are available at the Village Clerk’s Office during normal business hours for the purpose of inspection or procurement by interested persons.
