We want to restore fair, effective government to Berne

To the Editor:

Our names are Frank Brady and Brian Bunzey. We are running for Berne Town Board in the upcoming election. Our goal is to restore honesty, transparency, and open government to our town hall. We would be honored if you would give us your vote on Nov. 5.

If chosen to serve, we will do so with integrity and honesty. We will be both truthful and credible. We will make a sincere commitment to restore fair and effective government to Berne.

Under our stewardship, your money, our community, and the land on which we live will be responsibly overseen and protected. We will challenge any actions that undermine fair and impartial governance: no special deals to advance friends, associates or political parties; no secret deals; and no undisclosed behind-the-scenes shenanigans.

We are resolute, resilient, and independent. We will work for a better Berne, standing up for what’s right. We will do so because we are citizens, not politicians.

We are your neighbors, your friends, and community workers. We live here, we’ve raised our families here, and we want what is best for all of Berne, not just the few.

We hope you will consider voting for us this election season. The balance we bring to the table will help maintain fair and equitable governance, and ensure that open government will sustain the well-being of our town far into the future.
