DAR holds lineage workshop
GUILDERLAND — Old Hellebergh Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, a volunteer women’s service organization, will hold a lineage workshop, to assist the public in how to search for ancestors and their service during the American Revolution years.
The workshop will feature interactive research methods to establish genealogy, and DAR members will be on hand to explain and assist with preparing applications. “Discover new ways to reconnect with your past, establish stronger connections to your ancestors, and build upon your rich heritage with your patriotic past,” says a notice announcing the workshop.
The workshop will be held at the Voorheesville Public Library on Saturday, Nov. 1, at 10 a.m.
