A cakewalk, too. Eat lasagna, help the library

To the Editor:

It’s fall and that means it is time for the Lasagna Dinner and Cakewalk at the Berne Community and Senior Center at 1360 Helderberg Trail on Saturday, Nov. 2 at 5:30 p.m.!

The Friends of the Berne Library will be serving a variety of homemade lasagnas (meat, vegetarian, gluten-free), salad, bread, and beverages. Make-your-own sundaes, courtesy of Stewart’s Shops, will top off the meal.

You can buy your tickets for this delicious event at the Berne Library. Prepaid tickets are $10; tickets purchased at the door are $12, children 12 and under eat for $8, with a family maximum of $50. At the dinner, you can buy tickets to win a baked-from-scratch cake in the cake drawings.

Proceeds will be used to build a storage shed at the Berne Library. Call the library at 518-872-1246 for more information.

Hope to see you Nov. 2. Bon appétit!
