Preserve the magic of New Scotland by preserving its current leaders

To the Editor:
I get a little giddy driving around the town of New Scotland these days, especially in the area surrounding where I have resided for over 20 years.

In just a one-mile stretch on Route 85A, I see the new roof being installed on the Hilton Barn, the new park next door ready to be explored, the forever preserved landscape of a historic farm, a thriving new small business, and a commercial building being erected.

I see a town brimming with potential and momentum and I know who to thank for it and how to thank them — by voting for the town’s incumbent leaders on Nov. 2.

I echo many of the positive sentiments I’ve read recently in this publication that recognize the good leadership, planning foresight, and fiscal stewardship of the current board. Preserving the magic of New Scotland includes preserving its current leaders and allowing them to continue to build upon the excellent foundation they’ve laid for our town.

Please join me for voting for current Supervisor Doug LaGrange, Councilperson Adam Greenberg, and Councilperson Daniel Leinung. I will also vote for Lisa Williams for town clerk who rounds out their winning team.
