To the Editor:

I am writing to express my support for the Rapp Road residential project and business development in the town of Guilderland. Crossgates Mall is one of the largest businesses in Guilderland and a crucial part of the local economy.

Pyramid Management has continually sought to diversify the offerings of Crossgates Mall to maintain relevance and sustain the economy. With this proposed project, Pyramid is adding a residential component to its portfolio.

This will be a great asset to the area and attract young professionals and empty nesters to live, work, and play in Guilderland. As a part of this proposed project, it will also create a pedestrian-friendly environment surrounding Crossgates Mall, including walking and biking paths, which will create an overall connectivity in the area. 

Many businesses in these trying times are trying to adapt and improve their offerings to consumers and the community at large. I support this proposed project because it will add a new residential asset to the town and continue to diversify Crossgates’ offerings to the community.
