Honors and Grads

These local students were named to the dean’s list from their college or university for the spring 2020 semester:
 

— Jack Andrew of Schenectady, at State University of New York Morrisville, with a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher; and

— Samuel Caso of Delmar, at State University of New York Morrisville, with a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
 

These local students have recently earned diplomas:

— Steven Low of Voorheesville at St. Lawrence University; 

— Allison Reiner of Altamont at St. Lawrence University; and

— Alyssa Grogan, of Guilderland, earned a Ph.D. in molecular medicine from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. She successfully defended her thesis "Investigating the pathophysiological significance of obscurin immunoglobulin domains lg58/59 in the heart."Dr. Grogan is a 2011 graduate of Guilderland High School and a 2015 graduate of Siena College. She is the daughter of Liz Centi-Muscato (Mike) and Dan Grogan, both of Guilderland.
