NOTICE TO RESIDENTS OF

THE MCKOWNVILLE FIRE DISTRICT, TOWN OF GUILDERLAND COUNTY OF ALBANY, NEW YORK

The McKownville Fire District located in the Town of Guilderland will conduct a budget hearing on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 starting at 7 p.m. The hearing will be conducted at the McKownville Fire Station, 1250 Western Avenue, (Town of Guilderland), Albany, NY 12203.

Copies of the McKownville Fire District’s budget for 2021 may be obtained by contacting the McKownville Fire District Secretary at 518- 489-4340, or by contacting the Guilderland Town Clerk. Individuals may offer oral or written comments in favor or against the proposed budget as compiled, or for or against any item or items therein contained.

Legal Notice of Public Hearing on the Budget Guilderland Center Fire District

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Proposed Budget of the Guilderland Center Fire District of the Town of Guilderland, State of New York, will be presented to the Board of Fire Commissioners of the Guilderland Center Fire District, for its consideration.

A PUBLIC HEARING will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the Guilderland Center Fire Station, 30 School Road, Guilderland Center, NY 12085, in the Town of Guilderland, State of New York on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. 

Pursuant to Town Law §105, the Board of Fire Commissioners must hold a public hearing on the budget, make the proposed budget available to the public prior to the public hearing, allow the public to comment on the budget at the public hearing. This public hearing must be held to allow maximum public participation in the hearing.

The purpose of the public hearing is to allow any person to be heard in favor of or against the proposed budget as it is submitted, or for or against any item or items contained in the proposed budget, and hearing all persons interested in the subject concerning same.

VILLAGE OF ALTAMONT PLANNING BOARD NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING  

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Board of the Village of Altamont, New York, will hold a Public  Hearing pursuant to Article 355-42 on October 26, at 7:00 p.m., on the application of Nadia Raza, owner  of Curry Patta Corp. to operate a Pakistani Restaurant at a property at The Plaza at 187 Main Street,  Altamont (Tax map ID 48.06-3-1), and pursuant to Article 355-35 for a Special Use Permit (SUP) and  pursuant to Article 355-23 for a Sign Permit. The Property is zoned Commercial Business District (CBD).  The meeting will be held remotely as part of the Village of Altamont’s COVID-19 response plan and can  be accessed by the public using the link below.
