To the Editor:
Christ Child Society of Albany is hosting a Drive-Through Baby Shower on Saturday, Oct. 30, from noon to 2 p.m. in the parking lot at St. Madeleine Sophie Church at 3500 Carman Road in Guilderland.

Bring your layette items unwrapped; never leave your car. A Christ Child Society Member will receive your gift.

The layettes we distribute include an afghan or quilt, receiving blankets, disposable diapers, booties or socks, undershirts, stretch suits, hooded towels, sweater-and-hat sets, and children’s books.   

Our chapter members and volunteers distribute layettes to over 20 local service agencies in eight counties. The needs of our layette program continue to grow and we would appreciate your support of this special baby shower. In the event of rain, the parish center will be the drop-off point.
